One more nightshift down so what better way to chill out than with a chicken Madras, Pilau Rice with onion bhajis and a pint of Guinness to wash it down.
To your good health.

I’ll try your odd food if I can have a Guinness.
Come to think of it. Why do ya need that “Food” if you have Guinness in the first place?

Your food always looks amazing. I’m regretting eating some weird banana bread that’s made me feel weak and nauseous yet I’d still down all that food.

ODD FOOD,,,,,,,,,,,, ODD,,,,,,,,,,,,, FOOD, how very dare you. Lol.
A madras is fantastic, a bit spicier than a chicken tikka masala (one of two British national dishes along with battered fish, chips and mushy peas) and full of flavour.
Guinness doesn’t fill me like it used to, but then again I could do 21 pints of Guinness and half a bottle (half of 70cl) of scotch (I’ll never forget that night, St. Patricks Day 2007, nearly got thrown out of a pub for stripping, bar woman saved me and owned up to the bouncer that she told me to, and me and another friend took to Japanese girls back to his place).

Looks yummy! It’s good to be South Asian. haha
I hope you mixed the rice!

You can’t beat a good old ‘ruby-murry’ (curry).
Though I draw the line at a Korma, that just isn’t a curry.

I used to mix the rice and curry together but it would make the rice all ‘claggy’ and dry tasting so I’ve gone back to getting some curry on the end of the spoon and then driving into the rice to scoop some up. It makes all the difference in the mouth. Plus if I was having a naan or some poppadums' I want to just scoop the sauce not the rice.

That looks so tasty. And that’s the perfect beer to pair with it.

Ye’, both have strong flavours that don’t detract from each other.

After tomorrow morning I’ll have three nights off. Three nights off with a healthy supply of Draught Guinness. Yay.

You’ve got that right. Curry is my addiction. I could eat it for days.

I’ve still got another madras for tomorrow and plenty of basmati and pilau rice. Just need more onion bhajis, naans and maybe a few other items.
Oh and Bombay potatoes, love those things.
